Good News for America = Bad News for the Lurch Campaign.

The employment numbers came out this morning. According to the US Department of Labor, the economy (worst since Herbert Hoover, according to Lurch) added 288,000 new jobs during the month of April. February and March numbers were also revised upwards, coming up with a grand total of 1.1 million jobs created since August 2003. Manufacturing also added 21,000 jobs. All indicators are up.

Somebody better put a suicide watch on Lurch. Oh, wait. A corpse can’t off himself.

What does this prove? Tax cuts work. Putting money in the hands of the American consumer, business owner, and average Joe can do far more for the economic health of this nation than can “government investment”.

Another thing it proves – Despite the best efforts of the left wing loonies to paint this economy as something out of the 1903’s, things are looking pretty good. Poor libs. They’ve taken their best shot with their best issue for November and it keeps hitting them right square on their glass jaw.
