The Emperor has no clothes, and Nancy "San Francisco Treat" Pelosi has no brain.
Somedays I am loathed to admit I'm a native Californian. Today is one of those days. Representative Nancy "San Francisco Treat" Pelosi yesterday laid into W and company with the following diatribe:
I believe that the president's leadership and the actions taken in Iraq demonstrate an incompetence in terms of knowledge, judgment and experience. This president should have known ... when you decide to go to war you have to know what the consequences of your action are and how you can accomplish the mission. There was plenty of intelligence to say there would be chaos in Iraq following the fall of Baghdad.
Pelosi's comments, widely denounced by anyone with any sense of the obvious, show a lack of intelligence, critical thinking, and general common sense. War, by its very definition, is inherently unpredictable. Nobody has a crystal ball to predict the outcome of a war. If Pelosi's grey matter wasn't so infected by the visceral liberalism native to the bay area, she would know that. My guess is she does, and is just using the war's events as a platform from which to launch salvos at W.
By doing so, she also takes cheap shots at the men and women in harms way - thus giving ammunition to our enemies. The American people understand this, and that's why she will remain the minority leader of the House for the foreseeable future.
If you libs are listening, people like Pelosi are the reason why you're in the minority. I'd rather be buck naked than incurably stupid.
